  • If you haven't signed into your account in over 12 months, your account may have been permanently deleted from Yahoo's server.
  • Enter your Yahoo email address
  • Click Continue. 
  • If you don't remember your Yahoo email address, enter your recovery phone number or email address.
  • Review your backup address or phone number. 
  • The address or phone number will be partially displayed.
  •  If you have access to the address or phone number, click Yes, send me a verification code.
  • If not, click I don't have access to display another option.

  • To try again with a different possible email or phone number, click Start Over.
  • If verifying a phone number, you may be asked to enter two of the missing digits to confirm the number is yours.

  • Since you don't have access to your old password, you'll be allowed to create a new one now.
  • Click Create a new password.
  • Type your new password on both lines. 
  • Ensure that you type it the same both times
  • Click Continue.
